I took my family yesterday to the air show at Hill AFB. While the weather looked cool (overcast), we got quite sunburned watching all the awesome jets and vintage planes.
A few photos and a video.

A fine example of American youth there in the foreground.BruteForce wrote:I took my family yesterday to the air show at Hill AFB. While the weather looked cool (overcast), we got quite sunburned watching all the awesome jets and vintage planes.

Agreed. We enjoyed the F4 far better than the F22 and F16's that were present. The combat take-off was spectacular.. wrote:Awesome pics brother. thanks for sharing. The F-4 is one of my favorite aircraft ever.
Of course, watching the C17 drop a stick over the DZ (Air Force Academy cadets) was pretty phenomenal too. I've been on (and in) C5's, C130's, but never a C17.

Cool pics.
It's amazing how some of the new Air Force stealth aircraft are made to look like red suv's.

Nice pics. I enjoy air shows and watching past and present military aircraft. I had the opportunity to attend the military show at Edwards AFB last year and had a blast. It was awesome.

While on mission a few years ago, I had the opportunity to be in the air (helicopter) while the space shuttle landed at Edwards. It was quite the experience. I don't recall ever being that close to fast movers while in a hover.smokn38 wrote:Nice pics. I enjoy air shows and watching past and present military aircraft. Wrong Air Force Base I meant Andrews AFB not Edwards.BruteForce wrote:While on mission a few years ago, I had the opportunity to be in the air (helicopter) while the space shuttle landed at Edwards.
