Was just checking in to see if anyone was up to speed on the new US Army XM8? I noticed US Army soldiers running around with this thing at http://peosoldier.army.mil as part of the new Land Warrior program.

The Army is going to be testing this in the future, too (they just don't know it yet). It's the XAD-3000 Atomic Degenerator.....I have a gift....
