Introduction

Hello, I am a 17 year old high school student in the 11th grade. I have always been interested in the Rangers but have never found great information on them until I got the internet and found your site. I recently bought the To Be An Army Ranger book and my interest in the Rangers has greatly increased. My parents insist I go through college before enlisting in the army but I need help deciding if I should join ROTC or enlist after college. Which would greater increase my chances of being a Ranger and help my career in the Army :?: Thanks for the help.

Welcome, egg-wrangler.

I hated all three years of ROTC before I quit and enlisted.

But I hated bein a Private too.

Why don't you just go in as a Ranger NCO? Now that's fun!
