Criminal Apathy

Post by Strykerguy56 »

The victim, DeWayne Taylor, 20, talked to NBC10's Monique Braxton on Tuesday.

"I got the staples right here, and right here," Taylor said, pointing to wounds on his head. "And a broken finger, of course."

Taylor said the attack was unprovoked and he does not know the attacker.
It happened just after midnight Thursday at Broad and Fairmount.
The surveillance camera video may be disturbing to some viewers.
The suspect used a child and the child's backpack as a decoy.

I think it's time that people who sit and watch a crime get committed be charged with "criminal apathy." Id love to see a charge like this actually exist.

Using a child as a decoy is bad, beating a sleeping person with a hammer is even worse, sitting and watching it is more heinous than anything. What has our society come to?

What a bunch of pussies.

I don't know what the CCW laws are in Philly, but I'd like to see a video where the bad guy pulls his hammer, raises it to strike the innocent, and is then shot dead by mulitiple concealed-weapons-toting citizens with some backbone.

They'll probably just lobby congress to pass tougher anti-hammer violence laws.

I agree with that but the one thing we dont know is....maybe the boy who got hammered had an asswhuppen comin. To tell the truth, it looked to me like it was pretty well planned and since we didnt hear what he said, it may be he said, "Mutha Fukkka....steel da meat out my GOTDAMMED freezer willya.."......ya just never know.
