VA paying for Civ doctors?

Post by KeyserS175 »

Anyone know the process to have the VA pay for surgery and related Civilian doctors cost? The surgery is associated with a service connected disability, just don't really trust the VA to mess with my spine.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry don't know the normal process but I do know that it is possible. I work for a psychiartrist's and we have one patient who is from VA. Story I heard was he was not being treated properly and after enough complaints, the VA authorized him to get his care in the civilian sector.
