Bash McCain's military record

Post by rgrokelley »

What tactic do you use, if your candidate has no military experience, and he seems to loathe the military?

Discredit the military record of your opponent.

Oh, do it through surrogates and then deny that you had anything to do with it.

More than likely what will end up happening if Obama ends up POTUS is a lot of our best 'career military' and good young experienced kids that may have considered a career in the military will end up getting out.

A lot of us got out during Clinton's reign. I hit 20 years, didn't see any real purpose for what we were doing (repeatedly going to Africa for ACRI), so I figured there was something better I could be doing.

Obama can best be described as the 21st century Jimmy Carter. During Carter's presidency the same thing happened. My dad retired from Special Forces during that time, because he was just disgusted with what Carter was doing. When Carter told the world about Delta / Blue Light teams, my dad just about had a conniption fit!

No disrespect to the man's rank, but Clark needs to learn that he has no business belittling McCain's service. Clark has relegated himself to being just another retired general with a big mouth.

His Rank??? Wesley Clark is interested in one thing and one thing only...getting a job! Once he realized that he had no hope of attaining the Presidency he became a liberal thug. Didn't the General get fired?

I've known many in MI that served under (and had to brief, etc.) General Clark during the height of the Bosnia days. They universally thought he was a liberal hack and a waste of oxygen, even the ones who were liberal leaning themselves.

I'm sure this could just be viewed as rhetoric, but the facts are clear. Wesley Clark was in charge of III Corps, III Corps tanks were used in the final siege. And finally, Congress didn't approve the raid. Only a meeting between Clark, Reno and the Justice Dept took place.

Worldnet daily is a non-source! I am not sure why a link won't work but if you like I can send you the GAO report about the supposed military involvement at Waco.

Clark was relieved of command in Bosnia. I believe much of the stuff on the Internet about his involvement in Waco is a hoax.

Not a hoax, it's true that Clark commanded 1st Cavalry division at the time of the incident but his involvement would be best described as tertiary.
