Go to the recruitment forum and ask S. Plavney. He is a recruiter and he can help you. If you really want to go to Ranger Batt. you need to try hard and get it in your contract. You will not lose your infantry slot. The army always needs infantry. Everyone with a Ranger Contract and E-4 and below goes through RIP. ROP is for NCO's and officers. And for anyone else who answers your questions, if they haven't been there done that let them worry about getting there themselves.
