Any of these bring back memories?

The green '69 Chevelle is mine, the '69 Mach 1 is my uncles, and the red '72 Camaro was mine I sold it last year.

Nice Rides! I've been doing a recon for a new toy for the past few months looking fo just the right car. Has to be a convertible ( wifes buy off for spending the $$). Chevelle's are at the top of the list right now. Is yours an SS?

Muscle cars are becoming really hard to afford right now. Seems like since the Barrett Jackson auctions everybody thinks they have a really rare car. The problem I'm having is if you buy one with a fresh restoration it is really big$$ and if you buy a fixer upper by the time I fix it I'd be lucky to get my $$ out of it if I decided to sell it. So I've decided to look for something that has an older restoration on it that needs a little TLC.

Ranger Jakeshoe,

Wow those are beauties!!! BTW, what motor is in the '69 Chevelle? Is it hard to get them insured for their actual worth?

Chevelle has a 427.

The red car had a 454 and a 6 speed...

You can insure for a declared value through a company that deals in collector cars. If it gets totalled you get the value you declared.

Very nice jakeshoe. Yes, it does bring back memories. I didn't get my license until I was 27. I originally liked the 1966 Riveria and the Pontiac Leeman's. As a kid I didn't know the LeMan's was a french word nor it's pronunciation. The Corvette and the the GTO lasted all of 10 minutes on the Streets of Brooklyn, NY before they were gone, stolen. I like the Riveria and the 67 Baracuda and the mean 70 Dodge Charger. I drove my friends Charger to the Aideronik's (sp?) with a drivers permit doing 95MPH both ways. That Charger was a performer! Thanks jakeshoe for a peek at your beauties from the past.

Those are beautiful cars. The Chevelle is exceptionally nice. You don't see many Chevelles now a days.

Old cars fuckin rule! Those are awesome Jake!

I regret having got rid of the Firebird below, nearly everyday.

The Chevy PU and Bronco are my daily drivers. New vehicles are nice, but there is just something about classics that I really dig. 8)
