SITREP

Post by Glass Cannon »

Rangers,

I am doing great in OSUT, we just finished our mini FTX on Saturday, was a blast but rained like hell the whole time. The real FTX is next week, I am looking foward to it, especially Honor Hill. Final APFT is tomorrow, confident that I will knock out that 300 again. Airborne is just a few short weeks ahead, I am keeping my focus and always preparing for RIP. Running out of time, but I will post another SITREP after FTX. Thanks again for all the valuabe information on this site Rangers, it has definitely helped me on my path to becoming a Ranger.

Outstanding Jake, sounds like your head is in the right place.
Stay focused on the 5 meter target.

You're doing great. Of course, with a Mentor like Ranger Invictus, I'd be pissed if you were doing any less. Drive on, Troop!

Good sitrep. When you get the chance, share your OSUT knowledge and experience with the newest young studs in Minor Mayhem.

Rangers, another little update.

Took the final APFT earlier this week, 92 pushups, 89 situps and a 12:40 2 mile, highest in the company. Gained 30lbs so far so my run time hasn't improved since shipping out, but I am working on it, especially since I have been getting more time to run on my own lately. Nothing left but the 7 day FTX on Tuesday. Some bad news, my shins have been getting worse and worse over time, I am fairly certain that its stress fractures. Waiting until after FTX to get my bone scans, and will take some con leave if it is stress fractures; by then all my training is done and I can just graduate when I get back. Staying highly motivated, looking forward to Airborne and RIP. Thank you Rangers for all of the information on this site, it has helped me tremendously in my endeavors. Ranger Invictus, I am going to try and call you sometime this weekend.

Nice work on the PT and fighting thru the shins to finish.
I'd tell you to stay motivated, but somehow I don't see that being an issue for you Jake :D

Great job so far. Stay focused. Look forward to your call.
