Hand Signals
Are hand signals still used in modern light infantry? I would greatly appreciate a source for studying these signals as well.

Osiris, I looked for the same thing some time ago, and found FM 21-60 located here, http://www.adtdl.army.mil/cgi-bin/atdl. ... 60/toc.htm
That should help, I studied them and found that page very helpful, try saving the pictures to your hardrive and memorizing them at will there.
Here is another link for many US Army manuals, you cannot access them all, but there are a fair number that I found very interesting especially for a person endeavouring to join the military.

Also: Rangers, I hope I'm not making an infraction of the rules here, I'm just pointing out a link for useful knowledge. I've seen others smoked for similar attempts at the 'big shot' feel, but I realized how eager I was for information, and hope to show others where that info is.
Cheers.
