sitrep

Post by scar »

I just graduated OSUT yesterday, time flew by like I didn't expect, i ended up with a 271 PT score, ( 11:32 2 mile, 63 push ups, and 67 sit ups) over Christmas exodus I am going to continue to strive on for a 300 and do as much as I can to get above that. Things move fast, and I could tell right away who I needed to be around, and who not to be around, I was told once that you are made by who you hang around with, and it really is true. If you do the right thing and continue to strive on, you will be rewarded, me and 7 other guys in my platoon were selected to go to main post and lower the flag on Thanksgiving day. I went in as a Pvt, and was rewarded the day of graduation along with 5 other E-1's by being promoted to E-2.

We were told on day one, don't take anything personally, just strive on, if you go by this while you are there, you will be just fine

Rangers, I reported to BAC yesterday, and will start on Monday, first thing in the morning with a PT test, I am still preparing myself for RIP. I feel fortunate because there are two of my buddies who are very dedicated who have RIP contracts in my platoon, and another who has an 18x that I was in OSUT with, I know this will help from keeping all the shithead POGs there from rubbing off on me.

already on the first day, someone asked me where I was going after BAC I told them RIP their response was "why? do you just want to get beat up or something?" I simply replied, "Why wouldnt I want to be with the best" and turned around
