ortho waiver

Post by DD »

I just went to MEPS and am having to go get an ortho consult for my right arm. I hurt it as a child and cannot totally pronate or supinate (sp?). However, I did attend a military college and can compensate for it just fine as well as perform any necessary activity.

I am only going into infantry and I know that you need 1's across the board but what happens to that scale when you get a waiver? Also, if they grant the waiver and let me into infantry, does that mean that I can still go to Airborne/RIP/Ranger schools or am I going ot need to get waivers the entire time in the Army?

Thanks to those that can help.
