Introduction

Post by bikeracer »

Hi All,

I'm totally psyched to find this site. I've been reading it pretty much non-stop whenever I'm at my computer.

13B&F40
1/319FA, 82ABN, 1983-87
Various NG units (all FA), 1987-2000
ABN
JOTC
PLDC
BNOC
ANOC

Got out due to a move for a sweet job. Was 1SG when I did. Meant to get back in when I got to where I am now but couldn't find a unit that needed a Top and I didn't want to spend my last couple of years in an admin. unit. Then I started digging NOT having to plan my schedule around drills and service sort of drifted off my radar. My old man was a career Marine so I'd been in the military in one capacity or another for my entire life. DOD schools, etc..

Thanks to all who replied to my "Introduction." If only hooking someone up with a beer--or many...many...many beers--were a site option.

I'm out of here and heading over to the Hunt Club forum. Can't get to it until I'm in my office tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure I've got a humdinger for you all. My place-o-employment has hired a humdinger of a bullshitter (I think) and they're paying him something on the order of 200 GRAND based on a resume that stinks of fraud, military and otherwise. Hoping to get some feedback once I have his "Selected Military Schools and Awards" in front of me.

One thing I never liked hearing was a 1SG being called a top. Just don't get it. Who's the yo yo?
