Introduction

Post by Billabong81 »

Hey guys, my name is Greg, I'm 17 years old and currently a senior in high school. I have applied for the 4 year ROTC scholarship already and am hoping to hear back before new year on my status. My goal is to eventually serve as a Ranger after college.

I have not taken an official APFT, but I have self-administered one. I scored 276 (11:45 2 mile, 70 situps, and 63 push ups). I hope to raise my push up score, as I have been working on them for about a month now. A month ago I could do about 40-45, so I am making progress.

Thank you for allowing me to be a member of the site and I can't wait to learn more about the Rangers.

Welcome.

We are not "Hey Guys". The first word out of your mouth should have been Ranger or Rangers. But, you'll learn.

Inculcate yourself in this environment and community and you should have a significant advantage when you start ROTC next fall.

Don't forget to capitalize "Ranger". Hopefully it was just a typo.

Stop doing that type of bullshit. You do not talk at anyone on this site. You just reply when asked to.
