my intro

Post by Vapor Brain »

Hey everyone. Found this site by chance while searching for army ranger info. I will be turning 18 in less than a month and after this year I will have one year of highschool left. I am planning on joining the army as soon as I graduate. i feel my life needs more direction and I need more discipline. I also feel called to serve my country in this time of war. I have also had some experience with former rangers, great guys I must add and people that I look up to daily. I attented a leadership program based out of dahlonega, ga which is run by mostly all ex-rangers, knowing them has definetley influenced me into wanting to become a ranger.

thanks for the good reception guys. This leadership course I went to was run somewhat like what boot camp would be (from what I have read). PT in the morning. during the day we would learn general skills from building a rope bridge to land navigation, I sure hope I can remeber at least some of the things I learned there before I leave for training. The organizer/leader of this school, his name was Mark, demanded the upmost respect. whenever he would come PT us he would smoke us HARD. his favorite saying was (in his souther drawl, of course) "awright boys, I want my box lunches back so we are going to PT 'till we puke"
