Dishonest Recruiters?

Rangers,

Recently my mom told me that one of our friends who has been a recruiter for twenty years informed her that no one gets what they sign of for, at this time, because they are so short of people. That I would not be able to go through Rangers training, ect. He said you go to boot camp, one month of weapon training, and then to Iran/Iraq.
