Tried it out the other week at a CATC shooting course put on by AWG.
Got my own and am bringing it to the field this week. I'll post more then.

Just because I love to read reviews about shit I have no use for and wont ever own, that is supposed to be a good piece of kit, only down side I have heard is from folks trying to run it without plates and then it was prone to sag in the front. But thatâ€™s just from what I read on the internet so looking forward to your review

its the shit with plates in
not that bad with them out
i have a pouch on the left side for nods, plugger, strobe, and a flashlight
on the right i have a med pouch and a weapons catch
on the back i have a molle camelbak
its clean, comfortable, less oppressive than the iba, i really like it
i have been wearing it with the kevlar still in the iba vest and the plates in the wasatch over it

Looks like a decent set up, shits a far cry from LCE w/belt extender over the old RBA.

The Wasatch was designed to be worn over other soft body armor .

Guys, for your own safety, don't go with something like this. How many of you really want to have separate soft armor (IIIa minimum), and have your ammo attached to another piece of gear that oh, by the way, has your level V plates in it. Wearing either one by itself is asking for some rather serious problems should some metal come flying your way.

I recommend the Alauda Centurion TAC SF. Made of Dyneema, it is MUCH lighter than the Interceptor with plates, is Level V (newer version that is coming out is level V all-round not just on th plates) and has a fantastic cooling system built-in.

Angry, I think he's just calling his new cell-phone sized GPS a plugger because he's an old fart who can't change his ways.... :D

Can you explain your point a little more.

I guess I don't understand if you are wearing them together and the plate hanger holds the plates in the same position as the IBA and you wear it over the IBA, as G&G suggested. What would be the problem?

I'm not that old, nut just calling my Garmin a plugger generically. Now we are using the dagger system as well.

I think he's saying that he doesn't see a reason to wear two vests when one will do just as well.

More pieces of kit means more things to screw up.

Why not just wear the gear you're issued? This is one of the things you can spend money on that will not increase your chances of survival.
