EMT - RN Bridge Program

Post by Doc Roberts »

Currently, the university in my area, Georgia Southern University, is on summer break and all instructors are out of town. I am currently an EMT and looking for information regarding the EMT-RN bridge program. Just wondering if anyone out there has had any contact with it, pro's cons etc, or just some basic general information for me. I have looked into the universities course catalog with no results but have heard it was offered. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from ya'll.

COnsidering the low pay in my current job as a detective, nursing doesn't sound so bad........but then I really love what I do. Which presents the problem. Basically having a pre mid life crisis and wondering if I should jump tracks before it is too late. Thanks for the site link.....will be looking it up as time permits.

Have you looked into Southern Union over in Alabama? I have heard that they have a pretty good nursing program which also certifies you as a EMT-P along the way. It's not a bridge program but it may be worth looking into.
