I've got an Icom T-90A tri-band. It's smaller than a Coke can, and I can talk on 2m, 6m and 440cm. With a field expedient antenna on 6m, and the help of the many repeaters in my AO, I can get comms in excess of 50 miles around here. Not bad for a 3lb radio. The thing even has a nifty little throat mic, too.
Too bad it is all unsecured comms, though.
