DEP Introduction

Post by Calman721 »

Hey Rangers,
I am 18 years old and a senior in high school. I just got back from MEPS today and I got my 11X with option 40. I got a high enough score on the ASVAB, passed my physical, and got it all squared away. I ship out to Fort Benning on July 27. I'm a little nervous and really excited for all the tough times ahead.

Welcome and congrats on the contract. Do me a favor though and when addressing the Rangers here don't start with the word Hey.

Good Luck in your future endeavors. Read and learn. Every question you have about lies ahead has answers here. Again, Welcome and good luck.
It's all good.

Get the word "Hey" completely out of your vocabulary until you've BTDT and you're telling some assmonkey like yourself to beat their fucking face!
Like me, telling you now, "Hey ice cream boy!!!! Beat your fucking face!! Who the fuck do you think you're talking too???!!!!!"

Good call SkyShark.

Thanks Rangers,
My first unit of assignment is RGV4, does anyone know what that is? My recruiter doesn't know what it is, but were assuming it is one of the Ranger Battalions.
