40mm grenade pouch

Can anybody please tell me if i would be able to fit m16/m4 magazines in here. There is another E-4 in my unit who has a similar setup but i dont know it this is exactly what he has and don't want to buy it and have to return it. i don't have his contact info so I can't ask him either. He put three mags per individual pouch. Any help ould be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

Common sense tells me that a pouch designed for 40mm grenades will not fit 30-rd magazines.
