Birth Defects/ Gulf War Vets

Post by Julieanne »

I am wondering if anyone has seen anything published recently on the birth defects of children born to Gulf War Vets.

I've been searching this evening, and the most recent thing I came up with was published back in '03... There has to be something more recent out there.

RGR Wade and I have two friends who served with us during the Gulf War, whose babies were born with the same, rare and very severe, birth defect. Subsequently, both babies were unable to survive. Right now, I can't remember for the life of me what the diagnosis was though.

Any guidance toward more recent information would be appreciated.

Vanderbilt University was doing a study. I came across it when researching my disease and was stunned at the information they had uncovered... Try there. Good Luck.

As an aside, also try http://www.gulfwarvets.com

(I have no affiliation with this site, nor do I endorse it. I have just been given it as a resource for Gulf War Syndrome and related information.)
