Welcome hit_it, welcome to site. Happy Holidays bud.
I wanted to ask you a question. Actually several. Are you doing your recruiting in nyc?
Are you living in the barracks in Ft. Wadsworth? Do you have Company car at your disposal 7 days a week? Do you sometimes eat in the Ft. Wadsworth Galley? My reason for asking all these questions is that I met an 82nd AA NCO at Ft. Wadsworth in the galley. I was wondering if you are that same person. I forgot his name. But I do remember talking about the 82nd with this individual. He told me to renew my memebership with the 82nd Association.
If you are not that person I know, no difference. Welcome mat is out always... :D

No, RANGER Steadfast. it wasn't me. if you met a guy from Division on Staten Island. more than likely it was SGT CAR*****. he's since ETS'ed and is attending college at Bragg. he'll come back in as an O. there is another airborne NCO there on SI, but he was with the 173rd.
I recruit on Long Island and have never eaten at The Galley.
Yes, i do have a company car (GOV) but i can't drive it for other than Army purposes. i still manage to get 6 days a week out of it, though.
I appreciate the welcome, Brother.

Hit_it,
Thank you for your response. I do remember how hard that 82nd AA NCO recruiter worked, often it was 7 days a week. I meant no disrespect about Company Car. The heavy workload you NYC recruiters do is an admirable hard working quality. I have fond memories of the 82nd. Airborne All The Way!
P.S. I haven't been to the Galley in over 16 months. Happy New Year Brother

they just screened everyone and left them on. it's not actually a pay site but a "donation" site....of sorts. you don't have to give the 25 bucks a year if you don't want. it just helps the admin keep up the site.
it's gonna sound like i'm not supporting our brothers over there, but i haven't paid the 25 either.
