No Country for Old Men:

I'm a little undecided on this one. I really liked almost the entire movie. The last 30 minutes, I guess, really pissed me off, along with everyone else in the theater.

I'm about to watch Rescue Dawn, and will report back later.

I know, I have no fucking life, and ain't getting laid either; so, what else is there to do but watch movies and drink beer?

Who wants to see I am Legend/Omega Man/I am Legend? It looks pretty good.

I thought that was one of the better movies in a while. Anton does a slamming job of following his professional work ethic.

That he does. I still wish there would have been another confrontation.

Without knowing the details of Deiter Dengler's crash, capture, and escape, Rescue Dawn was good. Did this even come to the theater, because I don't remember hearing anything about it until it was released on video?

I rented Seraphim Falls starring Pierce Brosnan and Lian Neeson and it kind of starts out with Pierce doing a Rambo / Mad Trapper in the Rockies. It is worth renting since not much else at the video store is worth watching.

AVP 2 should be out around Christmas.

Watched 'Rescue Dawn' last night. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

While Christian Bale is not one of the greatest actors, this was still a great story and well worth the rental IMO.

I went and saw Hitman... for the hell of it.

I didn't think it was all that bad... actually, enjoyed it. I went in, knowing it was a Hollywood rendition of a video game, and was entertained. You have to get past the shallow characters, poor acting, and un-realistic gun battles, it's a pretty entertaining movie.

AVP 1 was pretty good, except the end, where the hybrid alien pops out of the predator; that was stupid. AVP 2 should be pretty good. I know there are purests who thing that Alien was the only good movie, but I like all of them.

My daughter and I saw The Mist last night. Worth seeing, but it is still a Steven King flick with extreme characters and inaccurate military uniforms and equipment. If you take your kids it does have lots of profanity.

I would have killed that bitch in the very beginning of the movie.

I am Legend was great except for the very end when a grenade exploded like an atomic bomb. I have not read the book, and don't remember Omega Man much at all, so I can't compare the current movie to its predecessors.

There was a preview for Dark Knight (Batman Begins II), it looks good; but, I liked Batman Begins better than all the other Batman movies, minus the Michael keaton one.
