I am going to see Van Halen on Sunday. Fucking $100 a ticket. That is robbery but someone else is paying as I am driving. They had better be good for that much money.

Everyone there will probably be 35 or older, just a bunch of us old fuckers.

With Sammy Hager rejoining the band you can bet they're gonna be KickAss! Cause without him or ole Dave, it just wasn't the same. I forget the dude that came on board after Sammy quit but he or they sucked. They were a kickass band in their prime though (course I was in my prime when they were "new")

100 bucks to see an "old" band, 25 bucks to see a new one (something just ain't right about that picture) Hope you have a good time Ranger2

I am looking forward to it. It should be fun, but I will probably take some hearing protection which in the old days I never would have.

Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Ben Harper Steve Poltz and Cooder Graw.

I also dig a lot of old Louis Armstrong stuff.

Three doors down, Limp Bizkit, Dirty Vegas.

Other people were fine and you liked them and were good friends; but you only felt true tenderness and love for those who had been there and had received the castigation that everyone receives who goes there long enough."
