ahhh. The MI have a core crest that goes on your right side of your class A. I think there are some more MOS's have a core crest too. Oh and everyone is going to love this. They now give (emphysis on give) the beret for completing BCT. Holly hell.

Any soldier calling a Regimental Crest a "core crest" is either so asleep at the wheel that they need a medical discharge for stupidity, or has been "victimized" by more of those untrained Drill Sergeants we are always hearing about, who train soldiers according to their personal beliefs rather than according to the POI.

So, which one are you? A seriously uninformed solder, a mislead soldier, or just some kid in school who lets his fingers talk more than his experience can back up?

What makes you think that ANYBODY here will "love this one..." that for completing BCT the Army will give the trainee a Black Beret?

Ok here is the picture of the MI core crest that you receive for getting an Intel MOS. don’t hold me to it but I think that most CS and CSS MOS's have them (see attachment) ( know my camera sucks) It goes on the right side of the uniform.

For the black beret. I know how bad that must piss every ranger off that not only dose everyone in the army now have it. But they are giving it to soldiers that haven't even completed AIT. You see fucking privates walking around like there hot shit because the made it through Fort Jackson. I just thought the community would like to know about another dishonor that has been done to them.

As for the combat badge. NO CSS or CS MOS should be allowed one. I agree entirely with everyone here that someone sitting in a TOC should not get one. Although I have to say that maybe tank crews should. There in the fight too. But it shouldn’t be as prestigious as the CIB.
