No Ranger Tater Nuts, just chest hair... (It's why everyone in school referes to me as the big Geurilla...)
STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD

Any further comments/ replys from you should involve your training (like how many pushups and situps etc... you did today) and weight loss results.

Anything else you post/reply to will subject you to the Wrath of the Rangers on this forum. We have asked, instructed, told, suggested and damn near pleaded with you to SHUT UP.

If you need help with PT, ask.

Otherwise, you have damn near pissed off every Ranger on this forum with your mouth and your stay here will be short.

Just don't know if it's good or bad... :? not that I really care, cause I will keep running my mouth anyway.

Running off at the yap may not be considered a good thing and I'll tell you why.
While your sense of humour will serve you well, you need to work on your p.t......funny guys stand out, and there for get smoked ; you need to be able to back it up so your classmates may then appreciate your reckless behaviour and bravado; they will then look towards you as a morale booster, simple as that.
While it's true, a good morale officer is always a positive asset, you will draw a lot of attention to yourself in the process and you really need to be in top shape, or, rather than motivate your Class;you will simply be a chew toy for the Class Cadre and an overall detriment to "Class Morale"....what are you doing to prepare yourself....going to the gym?.....what does your day to day p.t. progam consist of?.....diet,sleep, etc?

Thank you Rangers, and Roger, moving out.
Tell me who Roger is in 100 words or less. :D

For running I run distance no less than 1 mile regardless, and than fill the rest of the laps with sprints of varying lengths, or I do distance running even further than a mile.
You consider distance no less than 1 mile?? :?
And the trap is set...Will the wounded wannabe take the bait? It knows it shouldn't but its instincts have been dulled by to many hours in front of the XBox. The boards are a cruel environment indeed. I cannot interfere with the circle of life only observe in horror as the clumsy wannabe staggers toward the trap unable to help himself. Nature is a cruel mistress.

If you guys need a DD-214 you can go to a recruiter, tell him to print an SF-180 form, fill it out, and they can order your DD-214 on the spot.

I apologize to adding to the announcement, I was just trying to help you guys out... (Trying to return the favor...)
Garnett, we need to talk. Step back away from your keyboard.

"If you guys..." We are not you guys. You are not one of the guys, yet, either. The DD214 issue was discussed in detail two years ago. (Not a bad reference) -- but is it your place to offer advice. Your job is to sit back. Post only when necessary, and absorb data.

Noticed that you posted your PT results, while I appreciate your honest reporting, you are in very poor shape and almost morbidly obese. I note and applaud your progress, but you have a long way to go. In addition to pushups and situps, I want you to practice the push-away. As in push away from the table; and push-away from the keyboard. Never, never quit!

If you want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right place. But, I remind you again that you are a guest. I also warned you not to abuse our hospitality. For your next task, I want you to sit down and explain in fewer than 250 words why you want to be a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment. Please include a discussion of what skill sets you bring to the table. Please complete this task within the next 48 hours (don't rush it. I want you to give this particular thought and insight.).
Yes Ranger Jim.

What you asked me to right:

I’ve always wanted to be a soldier since I was 9 years old. And I want to be one of the best, I just have never realized Army requirements for physical fitness (sadly) until I talked to a recruiter for the very first time in summer of 2006, which is when I began cutting my weight down. I’m very dedicated to achieve this goal, and I’ll do what I need to in order to achieve it. I’m taking two PE classes next year (Weight Lifting and Aerobics, the only two my counselors would let me take…) to get into shape as much as possible during school time, on top of after school workouts. For help with skills I may do in 13F and 21B I’m taking an Advanced Math class and Construction Engineering next year. I’m willing to learn everything I possibly can to obtain my goal, and become one of the best soldiers in the Army. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to meet that goal. To try and make an attempt to prepare for 11Bravo or 11Charlie (Because I’ll only be able to enlist as 11X-Ray.) I’ve been going into wrestling (for the conditioning) and as many running sports as I can such as Cross Country, and Track. Any skills you guys would like me to learn/subjects to learn on, I’ll do it. My classes aren’t finalized until September 2nd. And sports don’t start for another six days. Tell me what to learn, I’ll learn it.
You may think that you are entertaining, but you are badly mistaken. Garrett, it is time for you to stop or you will be on the outside looking in. I've made allowance for the fact that you are still immature; but there is a limit to what I will overlook. First, as I said before, we are not "you guys." I'm not your parents, nor your public school teacher. I do not have to tolerate your childish behavior. I come here daily to try to assist young men who truly wish to earn the opportunity serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment. You have been offered advice form some of the best Rangers on the site, including men who are going in harm's way each day in Iraq and A-stan. You need to review the signature lines and recognize that each and every one of them has been validated. You are conversing with the real thing. Next, when I assign you a task, it has a purpose; I asked you to self-administer an AFPT. I did that because I wanted to extablish your physical fitness baseline. At best you are in need of a lot of work. Then I asked you to think and answer a question. You came back within a few minutes and demonstrated that you are incapable of following simple instructions or knowing that we "write" a paragraph. Now I admonish you to start to pay attention to detail or find yourself banned for failure to take corrective actions. I expect your response to be nothing more than: "Understand, Ranger Jim."
