Life sentances can be revoked if further evidence proves innocence.
As soon as one of you tells me how to undo an execution, I'll support it.
The number of incontrovertable, no-way-the-cops-faked-anything, solid death penalty worthy, Lemual Smith style crimes is so small as to be hardly worth the incredible expense.
Emotionaly, I'm as hard-core "fry the bastards" eye for an eye type as anyone here, but rationaly, it just doesn't stack up.

Yes but would you put somebody away without being sure of their guilt? However, I would not intentionally put somebody away knowing of their innocence.

Re: The Counter-ACLU...
That might be the root of my issue with capital punishment, I don't see it as an emotional issue. I have been involved in some very "Emotionally charged events" and for some reason I have always been able to remain semi-objective (I am not claiming perfection). Maybe I am within the 2% of the population that is normally called sociopathic???K.Ingraham wrote:Emotionaly, I'm as hard-core "fry the bastards" eye for an eye type as anyone here, but rationaly, it just doesn't stack up.
