In attempting to find some closure for our boy Lips (like some scientific evidence that the young girl was dead before Lips ever got to her vehicle...thus, it wouldn't be his fault), Doc tried to track down the report(s) from the accident.

What leaves me with with a particularly bitter taste is that Lips's exposure came not because Doc doubted him, or was attempting to verify his story; rather, his exposure came when Doc tried to reach out to a young man who he believed was scarred by the traumatic death of a little girl. I can only speculate, but I imagine Doc likely chose to do so not just because he had access to the neccesary resources; but instead because he is a man of experience, having chosen of his own accord to submit himself to live what Lips lied about, many times over, in order to serve others. Pisses me off, I can only imagine how Doc feels.

Doc, you've made a life out of serving others. Thanks.
