Welcome stranger, your already pinging the perimeter.
The way in which a man accepts his fate and all the suffering it entails, the way in which he takes up his cross, gives him ample opportunity – even under the most difficult circumstances – to add a deeper meaning to his life.

Very cool, nice to see another flight medic here! I was in the 3rd/498th Medevac out of Wright AAF at Stuart after leaving 1st Bn in '81. I got to pull 30 days TDY for the 57th when you guys were deployed somewhere. It was good duty, 24 first up, 24 on, and then 24 off, which was rough. We'd get off duty at 0800 and be waiting for the strip clubs to open....we drank as a flight crew, no ranks. Good times. Hay Street was still "fun"....

It was fun flying up to UNC and Duke too and landing on the football fields.....

Was always cool flying the approach to UNC-Chapel Hill LZ on a football Saturday. Standing on the Huey right skid, to clear the tail rotor. Profiling for the peasants, big time.

Then I went Feral. (Tee Hee).
