Holy crap, I can't believe this thread. :? Before I went to RIP, I never would have thought of asking the question....How many chances do I get to fail?

I guess if I had planned on failing on some aspect of the trek to become a Ranger, I never would have signed up to do it.

Well, here we are, a month later.
Has this class graduated its Ranger material yet?
We never did hear from this youngster during the weekend breaks.
Did he push on, focusing on the objective & waiting to proudly post today that he's wearing a new tan beret or has he slunk on to Camp Swampy somewhere, having failed the Day 1 PT test?

The current class started 130, right now they plan on graduating 33. My money is that he's not one of those 33.
Thats assuming he skipped any time in RIP hold to get into the current class. Our man could still be in standby status. In an earlier post he claimed two to ten weeks of RIP hold was probbable. Airborne graduation was July 27th. Assuming at least two weeks of RIP hold, he wouldn't be in the current class.

Jesus, thats not very many dudes. And regiment is really trying to stand up another company per battalion? How long is that gonna take? Regiment probably has 33 experienced guys leaving every week, going to selections or ETS'ing and shit.
