Fuckin' A. I remember one Friday afternoon formation when my 1SG (no name - he's still active) gave every swinging dick twenty minutes to be drunk, or well on his way to being drunk, or the whole fucking company was going for a run.

Bco got to go down to Eglin for a 12 day camp out. Pretty relaxed deployment. They set us up a little land nav course. When we were all done, the CO had a Keg of beer waiting for us. 8) Hardly no one drank because it was fucking freezing out.

I still don't get it. At 18 your inteligent enough to way complex political issues and vote. Your able to take up arms and put your life on the line at 18. But you can't have a beer! :x What a crock!

your fuckin kiddin me!!!! The dayrooms haven't surviveds to give the young hooah's a place to release some stress and knock back a few?
The Regt as a whole has had some serious shit go down and that is why they started enforcing the drinking rule. Our company alone had like 10 dui's in a year half was under age drinkers. Most of these guys never drank before they came here and get fuckin totally out of control when they have a few too many in them. So hence the stupid rule.

We had a guy, Mcaneeney(?), got drunk, went in to his room, beat off, and passed out with his dick in his hand. His roomate took a pic and showed it to everyone. It was a good laugh.
