You realize that the same cells that fight cancer, fight poison ivy/oak. The worse the reaction to ivy/oak, the better cancer fighting ability your body has. I hope you don't dip anymore.

Fuckin' cool! I WAS gonna quit dipping so that I'll be around to watch my girls grow up, but you just gave me another reason not to be a quiiter! Thanks, Bro!

We have a plant that has the same effect as poison ivy and the like but it spreads faster and hurts more. However, if one hits you, you can find another plant not far from it that if taken and brushed on the wound while squeezing the juices on the wound, then it gets better fast. I don’t recall the name of the antidote plant but I recognize it and have used it on both my son and I.

The bad plant is called “Tsouknidaâ€

See what having a new job and being busy does? I work for Tec Laboratories, have been since June 1st, and I rarely get online here to post anymore.

If you PM me your mailing address, I can get some samples out to you.

Friday, I picked up the Technu cleanser and Ivarest. Sunday, my wife bitched at me about my disgusting leg so I went to the Doc and got a perscription for Prednisone. He basically said if you use the cleanser and cream immediately after coming in contact with the plant, you have a chance of killing it before it infects you. That hardly ever happens, so take the Prednisone and it will go away quickly.

Oh, one more important fact; each time you get Poison Ivy it will be worse than the time before.

Screw the drugs... it will run it's course or you can amputate... either way it will get taken care of.

Technu is the stuff. Two bottles of treatment, one for cleaning, one for drying it up. Unfortunately, it was too late for me. I was scraped up by the stupid sticks from the plant, and it got under my skin, which long story short ended me up w/ a blood infection, in the hospital getting filtered and pumped full of all sorts of antibiotics and shit in the course of a week. No good. Hope that doesn't happen to you. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Well, mostly anyone.

Yeah Bro - Get the Technu shit. I recall some pogue who used to come to this board mentioning he got a janitorial type job at that company. Anyway.... that and some prednisone as someone else mentioned will work great.

Poison ivy has ruined portions of my childhood. In my experience nothing has worked except time. Technu has only helped me prevent an outbreak, other than that it didnt do a thing for me. Soap and hot water does dry it out though, try that.
