Controlled agression. Remember that. You will hear it again.

Just because some punk wants to act big to his suck buddies is not a justifiable reason to get into a street brawl ........ not now, and certainly not if you actually make it to the Regiment.

If you read this board, you may find stories of where Rangers have become involved in physical altercations outside of their work. If so, you will see it is not because some punk tried to pick a fight with us. One such instance I know of was where a Ranger was jumped and injured by a gang of punks. Rangers formulated a plan, went to their hangout, and showed them first hand how MEN deal with shit like this.

Boys roll around on sidewalks vying for the pecking orders. Men walk away from trivial shit like that, but when an instance occurs that justifies physical retribution, they formulate a plan, and execute that plan to standard using controlled aggression.

If you make it to the Regiment, the tough guys of the world will want to use you to prove their toughness to their buddies. You've got to know when it is worth it and when it is not. And it better damn well be worth it if you engage them in public view, because your actions will have consequences.

You can't be a Ranger without being a silent professional. What exactly is silent OR professional about rolling around on the ground acting like an immature dickhead just because some going nowhere punk wants to talk tough? Get the picture?

2 rounds close range, in the forehead - argument over - you win.

Watch out for the splatter.

Questions?

I thought not.

You know....one of these days we are going to give someone advise like this and they are going to do it. Then, we will be drug into court to asked if we were the mysterious voice that made the boy pull the trigger. And how will we feel then?

Personally? Fucking great, thanks.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.

There are different opinions here and everyone is entitled to one. One thing that I always thought is that in case a fight went to court the judge is going to see a Ranger as a trained individual that has the obligation to hold back. It’s another thing as a unit but would you kill a drunk in a bar fight?

I believe as the nations best you never move alone. It would be like saying “here I am, I bet you can’t kick my ass.â€
