Take care of the hand and make sure it heals properly. You have plenty of time to get into shape after you heal. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit! RLTW

Rangers , It has been a while since my last post. Once my broken hand healed up I was sliding into a base and broke/dislocated three of my fingers . I just found my log in information again. So I would like to say sorry for the long wait and I am still wanting only one thing , and that is to become an Army Ranger. I will get a APFT done asap. Within the next 4 months or so I will start talking to a recruiter about joining the delayed entry program. I am very excited .
Thank you and have a good day Rangers.

Rangers I went ahead and conducted a APFT here are my scores

PU 62
Situps 58
2 mile run 15:02
Pullups 11
The only thing is that my school is closed right now so I could not get to the track so the 2 mile run was on a treadmill which I am sure is not the same but that was the only option I had. I am going to try to figure out a 2 mile route around where I live so I can run on that instead. Thank you and have a good day.

Rangers , I just have a quick question. I have been working out for a few years and I just want to know what you all think I should focus on most. Cardio is very important but are there any specific body parts that i should get as strong as possible or maybe some excercises to stay away from ? Thank you and have a good day.

I found that the tasks associated with the PT test were excellent workout tasks. Never, never quit!

Ranger Jim , I have not spoken to a recruiter yet. I am not graduationg until June of 2017, so therefore I am not eligible to join the DEP until June 1st. Should I still go to a recruiter to introduce myself? I dont want the recruiter to feel like he or she is wasting their time.

Understand. In the meantime, continue to read material on the site. Focus on the experiences of others by reading letters from school. Never, never quit!

Rangers , I Went to a orthpedic the other day because I was experiencing pain in my right shoulder. They gave me an x ray and I have level 2 ac joint separation. I need to go into physical therapy for 4-6 weeks so they can repair the joint. That puts off some pt for a while . But I can work on running and endurance so I will still be preparing somehow.
Thank you Rangers and have a good day.
