Talked to a friend who worked for years at Mountain Ranger Camp. He lives just outside the camp. He reports they have fairly heavy snow in the mountains, and thinks it is going to be a tough class. Expect a lot of cold weather injuries.

Roger, Ranger Jim. We are a couple hours south of there and it was low 20's this am. And still snow and ice on the ground. Probably an easy 10 degrees colder up there on the ridges. We are being told that less than 5% of this class cycle (Jan starts) go straight thru, so know it will be tough and likely involve recycles at best.

Rangers, just got the call from swamps and our son is go for RS graduation!

He may end up with another class or two, then will head OCONUS until he can put in a packet to try for Regiment.

Thanks for letting me ride along, and keep up the good work!

I enjoy reading the updates by your young wards and the coaching, so I'll be lurking for sure.
