Lunch: The reason I wrote what I did is not becasue that's what I want to happen. It was precisely becasue I think most government employees would react just like you and that would stop Pelosi's plan for those of us who don't work for the government.

Hey...many of us government employees are screwed enough as it is; don't dogpile us. BTW: We recently received an email explaining that the employee share of our health insurance options will be increasing 10-15% this year. What better way of generating support and outcry for insurance reform than to make thousands of people unexpectedly pay significantly more for their insurance? As for me, I am quietly pleased to say "fuck those sneaky bastards" because my wife's BC/BS plan is comprable to what my agency offers, but is like $200/month less.

I am in the same boat as you. I work for the VA and the insurance rates ar jumping. Meanwhile wife wife has the best insurance I have ever heard of in my life. No deductible, 10 dollar co pay, and only 150 a month no matter how many kids we decide to have. Of course, we have to live in the middle of nowhere and she gets paid shit
