The cars are a lot of work, I restored the '69 Chevelle, am currently building a stroker motor for the '69 Mach 1, and also re-did the '72 Camaro. Painted it in the garage...
The '72 was mind boggling. 6 gears, and more power than you knew what to do with. More than 1 late model car got eaten by that car on the highway.
At 120 mph it was just getting going. I would shift from 5th to 6th at about 165-170 mph and let off.
Really odd to be going that fast and not hear the motor. Just the wind going over the roof of the car.

The Chevelle is my sons favorite. he loves it, he just hangs on for the ride when I nail it and things get crazy. My dad starts grabbing upholstery :)

Great cars!!!I love mach 1's I would say its my favorite muscle car of all time. My Dad was tellin me he had a old pontiac LeMans triple black and factory mags. I will ask him if he has some pics so I can post. Right now he has a Dodge Hemi Ram
he plans to get a new Dodge magnum (looks like a chooped station wagon and its got a HEMI). DAMN I LOVE CARS!!!
