Is this the reason why you become a pastor?

Nawwww, these cockwads thought I spoke like one and because I go to the same church "The Barbarian Church of Latter Day Heathens" I should be nominated. What the fuck.

College while in Batt

Post by rangerrich »

If your idea is to go to batt to get college, don't, I don't remember year or exact circumstances but me and a few other rangers from C co. attended Armstrong State college for a semester. I don't remember a whole lot about timeframe other than missing the Great Salt Lake deployment when SFC Moore from C co. and other first batt boys were killed

I am wondering this because my friend's brother is currently in SFAS, and said he was doing college in the army. If this is possible i would like to do this instead of go to college and then the army. Any information is well appreciated. Thank you.
I would like to help you but my info is 30 plus years old. I attended the University of South Vietnam, School of Warfare. It was an 10 plus month course. All the classes were held outdoors in the meanest, most inhospital terrain I have ever encounter. There were dry periods and monoon periods. Cold and hot periods. I was working on a consenus degree at the time. I spent many hours peeking through the jungle at the locals as they were generally bashful. They wished not to participate in the general survey. But we did have a job to do. Often times we crept up whilst they were encamped in bunkers. So us Feds got up real close and personal with them. Two main things I learned were that in the morning we had daylight and in the evening we had night. I feel real educated now.

No that will not work. Put it out of your mind.

The #1 school you should be concerned with when you get to battalion is Ranger School.

Save up your College Fund money and go to college after you get out of the army, if you decide to do so.
