Thanks for the heads up! I gave him a little welcome speach, we'll see what he has to say.

Ouch! Subtle..:D

Based on the thread, I would guess he's prepping to release a book or memoir.

My father was a 1966-1969 Vietnam vet.. I wonder if he'll EVER share any of that information with me. (doubtful)

ROTC used to send cadets to RGR School instead of their Advanced Camp (summer of JR-SR years). late 80's it stopped. too much concern with recycles affecting teh fall semester, failure rates maybe, etc. if they got the tab, it went on their ORB, and were concidered fully Ranger school trained. just like anyone else who graduated. if they got theor tab, they were golden for branch consideration, etc... not sure about those who failed.

It is also possible that this is NOT the real Mr Conners and someone who is using his name etc... seen that happen before in a couple military forums. Some asshat takes a real Vet's name and makes up bullshit stories fleshed out using names from the man's unit. Part of why the anonymity of the internet can make for some fucked up situations. Picture you are the real Mr. Conners and you show up to a reunion for the ass chewing of a lifetime because of something some punk did in your name on the net. IP addy with a face to face is the only way to resolve this kinda crap IMHO.

Oh, I am very well versed with Jerome Connors. I have most of his military records. ALL of the internet postings about the Chinese Bandits have been posted by him..every one of them.

How do the H Co Rangers feel about him??; Bill Anton called him a BS MF
and would "love to get him in a L shaped ambush"

He can write a long message on a short piece of paper...crazy as a shit house Rat in the Winter.

He has been banned from ps.com, and SOCNET, and a couple other sites! Banned, or acct deleted!
I guess that's why he didn't sign in here.
