Sheesh....I should have been more specific. OK. Here. Let me try again:

You've already fullfilled all your noble patriotic/combat ambitions and then some. You've already done 3 1/2 years in the army, two of them in a war zone. Now you're thinking about the re-up option. You can have any job in the army. So what's it gonna be?

Well, I re-enlisted for my own slot and went to OCS. I thought that being a platoon leader was just super -- so I led rifle, anti-tank and support platoons.

I always thought a kick-ass job to have in the Army was to be a door gunner for 160th.

Goose gunner. There's nothing like turning a car inside out or screwing up the line-dog's plan of attack because you just blew apart several walls, turning a three room building into 2 one room buildings.

Doorgunner on the space shuttle always looked nice. But I would have really rather been an inflight missile repairman

Ummm, I always thought manning a General Electric, belt-fed, air-cooled, 30mm minigun out the door of a chopper would be a good job, but if I could have ANY job in the Army ....................

Ranger Team Leader. ( Sorry, just couldn't resist ! )
