I know, this is OEF only.
But in regards to other missions (OIF i.e.), people should know that soldiers (not all of course) and French politicians are not implicitly of the same opinion.
I mean, we didn't decide wether to go or not. And you can be sure, many of us where more than willing (me included).

Okay got that out of the way.

I went to French commando School #7 in Trier. Our TAC NCOIC was SGT Chef Bensalah and Belmont in 1983.
They were good warriors.

Actually, they are, albiet mostly quietly, but in the political environment in which they exist, it's low key or not at all.
The GWOT is fought in many ways besides conventional invasions.

Similar to the Greeks low key one SEAL team and a few Frigates. Then again the Greeks don’t have much of an army, just enough to guard the boarders.
