Dam, getting spelling tips from some jackass from Tennesse. I need to tighten up my shot group. Tenn-RGR do you know Matt Weeks, Presley, or Alvis?
-To answer the other questions, I am actually thinking about MI and maybe trying to make some phone calls to get back in Batt. I feel like my Infantry days are over, I'm already experienceing the lack of qualifications in the real world. Plus Ive dodged enough bullets and IED's to satisfy me for this life, I don't need to push my luck. But just like anything else in the Army, you have to play you cards right and know the right people, everything is a gamble in the military.

Well Budha, go ahead and look up pogue in the dictionary. You wont find it, but here is it's slang meaning: Derogatory military slang used by front line troops to describe staff and other rear echelon or support units/troops. Now, what does Leg mean. Non airborne right. Well, why do we call all regular army units Legs when some of the units we are reffering to are airborne units? It is because in our eyes they are legs meaning not SpecOps. So, Quartermaster is a support unit, meaning they have no chance of ever being in the desicion making process of a combat unit. However, MI is what you call a combat support unit and in that position I may find myself on the front lines once again, making plans and solving problems for our Rangers and providing coarses of action to the CO's and PL's. An officer's job in general is a pogue job because all they do is plan and supervise the execution. The most hardcore position in the commissioned ranks is a Ranger PL, and how does the saying go, if the PL is shooting his weapon somebody is fucking up. Do you see what I mean?

No, I do not see what you mean. History shows that man for man, more PLs are wounded/killed than anyone else. That is not pogue. Likewise neither are officers who are Advisors and SF TLs. If you want an easy life as an officer, that is your desire. But do not attribute the justification of your desire to others. You have BTDT, but not as an officer.
