It's a little pellet gun (airsoft type). My boys each have one. I keep one close by, because the neighbor's cat like to spray my deck.

That room is also the toy room.....I just commandeered half of it. If you look to the left on the shelves, you'll see their robots, drums, etc.

Ranger Earth Pig, the robots in your firing position picture caught my eye. I can't even estimate how many of those are standing on shelves around my house. The boys all have some and the daughter even has a few.

To me they sort of all look the same, but I'm told with indignant looks that they are all quite different, with different weapons and from different eras, etc.

When I was in Japan, I got a huge model of the one with wings like an angel for our eldest. Someday he might even get it finished...
