Rented In The Name of the King and ejected it out of the DVD player five minutes into it. STUPID is the one word to describe it.

Hellboy 2 was pretty good. It had the same feel as the first movie, with a lot of insane looking monsters.

Now for something totally awesome.

Strange Wilderness...how the fuck did I miss this in the theater? I swear, this is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. There is so much ridiculous shit, I've watched it twice now, and have laughed my ass off at stuff I missed the first time.

Here's a teaser. NSFW!

Well, after your glowing review I ran right out and rented it.

I haven't been that disappointed since I got shot down by fat chicks at the Hidden Door...
I don't know what to say. I thought it was very funny.

The Proposition

This is an Australian western. Not an American western filmed in Australia, but a movie about 1880s Australia, which was a lot like our west. Instead of Indians, there were Aborigines (think Quigley Down Under time frame). The hookers are all Chinese. The story is about a family of Irish outlaws and the local law trying to track them down.

The Irish guys are ruthless and there are a lot of gun play in this movie. The sheriff is the guy who played Beowulf in the recent computerized version.

I liked it. I got it from Netflix.

Batman: Dark Knight

It was pretty good, like the first one. It was long as hell, 2:45. Christian Bale did another good job as a crazy, violent, split-personality psycho. Heath Ledger was pretty awesome as the Joker. It's too bad he's dead, because I would have liked to see him as the Joker again. There were plots and sub-plots that were both apparent and not so apparent.

Terminator 4. That's right, another Terminator. This one looks pretty good. It's Christian Bale as John Connor, and no fucking wrinkle-skinned Arnold. It looks like it takes place in the midst of the war with the machines. Hopefully, it takes place before the terminators started wearing skin; they were much cooler when they were metal skeletons doing damage.

I got pre-release tickets to the Dark Knight and took my 10 year old son and 13 year old neice.

Both were a bit scared during some of the scenes. As ANGRY indicated, it's a VERY long movie, but worth the long show time.

I see a Dark Knight 2 coming up soon!

ANGRYCivilian, BruteForce and Ranger Invicitus,
Three thumbs up for Dark Knight, I'll have to go check this one out. Sounds like I'll not want to watch it alone... that it's too scary..... ah just kidding. Thanks for the review. Jenny

Definitely an awesome movie. It's been a long time since a character in a movie legitimately disturbed me. Coming down off a role like that must have been agonizing for Heath Ledger, probably contributing to his demise. His portrayal of the Joker is definitely lives up to the hype.

I have not seen The Dark Knight yet... but, I did go see Hancock with Will Smith and that SMOKING HOT Charlize Therone... OMG.

Anyway... this movie made me laugh my ass off!

"Call me an asshole, one... more... time..."

I would recommend it. Hancock... you rock!

The first part of the movie is awesome. The second part of the movie gets a little bit "slower" but, is still good to go.

There's a bit of "tree hugging" undertones in it, but I just like Hancock's raw, totally un PC personality.

I just can't believe how unbelievably HOT C.T. was in this movie!!!!

I'm taking my 17 year old nephew to this movie tomorrow. 40 seats in the theater that cost $32 each. It's a present to the kid. He earned it.

But I also enjoy the Batman and look forward to it.

It costs $32 to go see a movie in Greece? I'd have to find another hobby.

Probably a Kino, like in Germany.

Go in, sit at a table, have a meal and a beer and enjoy the show.

Does this cost include a stripper and a BJ throughout the movie?

Ah, I remember my last trip to Frankfurt and window-shopping the redlight district. 5-10DM would get you just about anything back then.
