Mercer02 Give a Short SITREP

Post by Earthpig »

I received a PM from Mercer02 today. Sounds like he is doing very well in OSUT. Keep up the excellent work, Troop!

Ranger EarthPig,

Just checking in from OSUT on my first 5 hour pass. We just ended week 6, and OSUT has been easier than I expected. I scored a 250 on my last PT test - this past saturday - I have some more work to do on my pushups. We've had a couple of Rangers serve as our range cadre so it was awesome to learn the weapon systems from them - M203 and M240B. Our platoon has about 15 RIP contracts and they are good guys, so we're gonna stick together through all of this and push each other to the end. Well, I'm gonna go back to the phones and catch up with my family since I've only had 1 phone call since we've gotten here. I'll be in touch during exodus.

Sincerely,

Mercer02
