RIP packing list

Post by Ardent Lady »

My search for a RIP packing list led me to some interesting posts and a link that didn't work anymore, but I also found the right words to use for a Google search and now I got something that looks good. I am wondering if it is current. Could one of you Rangers take a look at it? To me it looks very official, but that don't mean squat.

Thank you very much!

That is a good link and is probably current. However, the packing list changes from class to class.

Why do you need to know this?

Your son will be sqared away when the time comes. Most of the stuff on the packing list is in his bags already.

Yeah, that looks about right. I'd tell you you need chemlight batteries and a 203 blank adapter, but i don't think i can do that yet.

Thank you, Ranger H8 Train and Ranger Jim Jones, for looking this list over.

Ranger Bell, I wanted the information becauseour soldier may be going from the Christmas exodus right into RIP - the dates are somewhat vague as yet. Normally I'd expect that the RIP Hold folks would take care of all the arrangements and such, but with Christmas in the middle, my son wanted to make sure we knew what to have - and what NOT to have - for him.

We'll probably get better information soon. Thank you!
