I had someone ask me behind the lines about the TF's indoctrination course.
Aspiring NightStalkers are not just sent to their unit to start work. those reporting in are sent to the Special Operations AviationTraining Company (SOATC) to be weeded through much the way Rippies are.
our RIP HOLD (so to speak) personnel are called Snowbirds. A Snowbird is someone waiting/earning a chance to start GP. exactly like someone earns a chance to start RIP.
If someone does not make it, they are sent away. far away.
I will not go into what is taught when class begins. However, you will earn the right to be called NightStalker. trust me
Enlisted personell- course in 1 month long
OFFICERS- could be up to a year long with flying portions
