i just got my school dates

Post by hayn808 »

Ii'll be re-enlisting for my second time on wednesday. I go to airborne school in January, from there I go to infantry AIT and in May I go through ROP. I've been in for 5 1/2 years and now I'm going infantry, should be different, I'm ready though.

What was your MOS before? Hope you are prepared because your boys will eat you alive if you are ate up. ROP ain't no joke either. They had a 50% fail rate last class. 4 quit. Oh yeah congrats and good luck.

i was a 63W all wheeled vehicle repairer and then i just became a 63B. I do have a quick question though is ROP just like RIP? also i heard a while back that light infantry combined with mechanized, is it still 11B? Anyway it should be interesting going back to AIT as a seargent. I wouldn't have chose to do it if I thought it was going to be easy, I have a goal and it's to be in the 75th Ranger Regiment, I know I can do it. I have not ever let anything get in my way yet of a goal I have set for myself.

Congratulations Sergeant hayn808. You seem like you have the right attitude. You've come this far up a hard path. Time will tell.

PT yer ass off and be prepared. Compass course is a must. Rangers are????, were land navigation experts.
