Hey again Rangers and friends.
Question about getting physically able to even do RASP.
I lost 150lbs to do this via bodybuilding/strongman. All with hopes of being one of the best.
I am 6'4", 250. BF is within standards however.
I am currently losing weight and have lost 15 in the past month. Goal is under 220.
I am 5 months away from 15 college credits (GED holder). So I figured a great time to work on PT.
I am most concerned with my running.
My scores are
Pushups: 83
Situps: 59
Curl-ups: 11
Running 19:39
10-mile ruck with 60lbs. ~13min/mile.
I just started a regimen of 6miles of steady jogging with fartleks added.
I know more weightloss would help as would going through BCT/AIT. however, being the studs Rangers have to be. I figured it would be great to hear advice from you all.
Do you think it's even possible to get a Passable runtime before hitting BCT?
If so, what advice would you give? I will never quit, and would rather die running than never to attempt.
I Appreciate you all; have a great day.
Getting PT ready for Rangers, 5 months.

I should have added that five months is enough time if you are focused and willing to work at it. Never, never quit!BigSwole wrote:Will do, thank you!
